These are deeeelish! I will never buy granola bars again. Not only do I know every single ingredient in these they are SUPER SIMPLE ~ which is important to me as someone who does not enjoy wasting, I mean spending ;0) time in a hot kitchen. SO without further ado here is my favorite go-to protein packed Granola Bar recipe. 4C Oats 1C Ground flax seed - (excellent source of protein & fiber) 2/3C Organic coconut oil(melted) 2/3C Raw local organic honey 1Tbsp Pure vanilla 1 1/2C Natural peanut butter Mix together and press into a parchment paper lined pan, any size will do depending on what thickness you choose for your bars. Place in freezer for 1hr. Remove from pan and cut into bars. Place in single serve baggies and store in fridge or freezer. How long you may ask? WHY - "Filled to Spill" A little bit about my journey to becoming "Filled to Spill." In August 2014 I had hit what felt like was a brick wall in my journey to better health. I was worn out and tired most of the time. Discouragement was taking over. After trying a couple different diets and cleanses that really did not give me the results I was looking for I had just about had enough of even trying.
